Social media has become a social dilemma these days and children are aware of the consequences but still don’t give up on social media. It is observed that children who regularly use social networks are more likely to develop an initial level of trauma. Young adults are the most desirable target audience for using social media. Sometimes it happens that they are unable to differentiate between real life and life on social media. They want to be cool on social websites. They start thinking about how people would see them on a platform. And according to the comments in the form of a comment section, it will be considered the truth and it will become a great social slogan for them. When things are going well and all of a sudden someone left a bad comment on your post or feeds, you start creating a sense of complexity that eventually leads to high levels of depression. This study, registered by scholars and researchers from the School of Education and Health Professions and Professor of Public Health at the University of Arkansas, took various samples and recorded how often young people used their social networks and their advantages and disadvantages.

The cyberbullying behaviors are encouraged by excessive use of social media. Individuals spend most of their time using social media and they are very much encouraged by what other people say and post about. According to a new study, by the University of Georgia, higher social media usage means more time on social media and so an individual spends many hours in front of a social media page and the male significantly predicted the building habit of cyberbullying in adolescents.

Characteristics like anonymity, accessibility to electronic communication, and rapid audience spread, result in a limitless number of individuals that can be affected by cyberbullying.
