- In May 2024, the Chennai Corporation and Chennai Smart City announced plans to begin installing passenger information display boards at 532 bus stops and 71 bus terminals in June, following the lifting of the Model Code of Conduct for the Lok Sabha elections. These display boards will provide real-time updates, including estimated time of arrival (ETA) at bus stops and estimated time of departure (ETD) at bus terminals
