- In July 2023, Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation announced that its U.S. subsidiary, Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., has entered into a gas supply agreement with 1PointFive for their first Direct Air Capture (DAC) plant in Texas. Matheson will establish an Air Separation Unit to supply oxygen for the DAC process, which produces pure CO2 for secure sequestration
